REMOVING FURNITURE MARKS IN CARPET:
Everyone has experienced those gaudy marks left in carpet/pad from furniture being shifted around a room. Well don't worry. There is a little trick to remove them and anyone can do it! All you need is an iron that steams and a white towel. It must be a white towel because a colored towel can bleed onto your carpet. It cannot be too thick of a towel either. Here's what you do: first, plug in your iron to get it hot. Next, wet your towel and wring it our to where it is damp. Then lay the towel on your furniture marks. Take the iron and place it directly on the damp towel and move in small circles while steaming. The amount of time you do this depends on the severity of the mark. Typically 15-20 seconds will do the trick. Remove towel and rub carpet nap with you hand back and forth to help pull up nap. Be careful because the carpet nap will be warm/hot to the touch. Padding will not bounce back like the steamed carpet. Repeat this until satisfied. The steam will slowly dry out the towel. MAKE SURE TO KEEP THE TOWEL DAMP. This is very important because a dry towel can burn or singe. That's it! It's that simple. Just be careful when using an iron and make sure NOT to put the iron directly on the carpet at ANY time! You'll be amazed! Good luck!
